Isn’t the difference just the body?

Or do you need a bowtie sticker for the motor too?

MMmm RC stuff. Reminds me that I need to fix the differential on my Granite, and go buy that Nitro TC3 Factory team I found at a store in town. Want to turn it into a brushless rally car since my G ranite apparently can’t handle the brushless.

One of my plans over the next couple years is to restore my father’s RC cars that I grew up driving. We have a Peugeot 306 Maxi painted in 1997 factory colors on a Tamiya FF-02 chassis as well as a HPI RS4 Rally with a Toyota Corolla WRC body painted green. Both are a bit tired at 15+ years old and the motor in the RS4 is shot (dad tried to use a kerb as a jump at 30+ mph and the motor is no longer round) so I think it would be good to completely go through both of them and bring them back into serviceable condition with modern electrics. Finding parts for the RS4 is going to be a total bitch though, I don’t think they have made parts for the belt drive RS4s in a decade.

Well I was planning to buy a nice new grill this spring, but now I’m rethinking that.
